Shoreline Basket Bag

This bag has been donated to the Tresco Woodland Recovery Art Auction on Saturday 25th July 2026 in support of the restoration and rejuvenation of the woodland following the extensive damage caused by Storm Goretti. Contact gallery@tresco.co.uk for details.

An elegant open-top basket bag, handwoven from a blend of white and brown willow to create a subtle ripple effect inspired by shoreline wavelets in the Isles of Scilly.

Designed as a refined carry piece, it features sturdy leather handles—handmade by Jasmine—carefully cut, shaped, and edge-finished (burnished and polished) for a smooth, durable feel. The straps are securely riveted to the basket for strength and longevity.

A considered piece rather than an everyday bag, designed to hold a few essentials while placing emphasis on form, material, and finish. It sits comfortably at an afternoon lunch or special occasions, and would be appreciated by those seeking a distinctive design piece.

Isles of Scilly free collection is available from Phoenix Craft Studios. Please allow 72hrs for your order to be ready to collect.

UK orders will be posted with Royal Mail, using a Tracked 48 or Special Delivery service depending on the order value.

For international orders we use a 6-7 business day tracked delivery service.
